Community Involvement
MS Walk May 3, 2009
What a beautiful day to make a difference, I did the MS Walk this morning with a group of friends and it was so much fun! We were team Jeannes Jems and raised $2,000. Jeanne, a very close friend of mine has MS, and I wanted to do everything I can to support her. Good friends, great weather, a wonderful time was had by all.
Carefree Cottages Linking Lifetime Meeting May 7, 2009
Today I met with my friends at Carefree Cottages in Maplewood to talk about my Linking Lifetime mentoring program. The men and women voiced their opinions on what activities they would like to do and how they would benefit children of the community. We talked about a 500 tournament between linking lifetime teens and seniors at carefree cottages. I will keep you posted on who comes out victorious.
